Welcome to Printara. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Printara platform, available at printara.co, operated by Printara s.r.o., a company registered in the Slovak Republic ("Printara," "we," "us," or "our").
By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.
Printara is an online marketplace that connects buyers with third-party sellers, including 3D model designers, printers, and painters. Printara provides the technology platform and related services but is not a party to the transaction between Buyer and Seller.
The contract of sale for any product listed on Printara is formed directly between the Buyer and the Seller. Printara acts solely as an intermediary, facilitating the listing, discovery, and payment processing of goods and services.
To access certain features of the platform, you must create an account. By registering, you represent and warrant that:

Digital goods on Printara include 3D model files in formats such as STL, GLB, OBJ, and 3MF. These files are delivered electronically through the platform.
Under Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights and applicable Slovak law, consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from online purchases. However, this right does not apply to the supply of digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium once the performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgment that the right of withdrawal is thereby lost.
When you purchase a digital file, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the file for personal or commercial purposes as described in the listing. You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense the file itself unless expressly permitted by the Seller.
Physical goods on Printara, including 3D-printed objects and hand-painted miniatures, are manufactured to the Buyer's individual specifications. These items are made-to-order and tailored to the chosen model, material, finish, color scheme, and other parameters selected at the time of purchase.
In accordance with Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU, custom-made and clearly personalized goods are exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal. Because each physical product on Printara is manufactured to the Buyer's specifications, the right of withdrawal does not apply once production has begun.
If you receive a physical product that is damaged, defective, or substantially deviates from the agreed specifications, you may file a quality complaint in accordance with our Returns Policy. Please contact us at hello@printara.co within 14 days of receiving the item.
Certain 3D models on Printara may be generated or enhanced using artificial intelligence tools, including but not limited to Tripo AI. In accordance with the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689), content that is generated by AI systems is labeled accordingly on the platform. Users interacting with AI-generated models are informed of this fact.
Users who generate 3D models through Printara's AI tools retain ownership of those models, subject to the following conditions:
AI-generated models are produced algorithmically and may contain imperfections, artifacts, or geometric issues. Printara does not guarantee that AI-generated content will be suitable for any particular purpose, including 3D printing without modifications.
Printara charges a platform fee on each completed transaction, which is deducted from the Seller's payout before disbursement. The applicable fee tiers are:
Fee tier eligibility is determined by the Seller's subscription plan or volume thresholds as described in the Seller dashboard.
All payment processing is handled by Stripe. Additional payment processing fees imposed by Stripe are separate from the Printara platform fee and are borne by the Seller unless otherwise specified. Printara reserves the right to modify fee structures with 30 days' prior notice.
Sellers represent and warrant that all content they upload to the platform, including 3D models, descriptions, and images:
Sellers agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Printara and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to any allegation that the Seller's content infringes upon any third-party intellectual property rights.
For physical goods, Sellers are solely responsible for the quality of manufactured products, accurate packaging, timely shipping, and compliance with all applicable product safety regulations.
In compliance with Council Directive (EU) 2021/514 (DAC7), Printara is required to collect and report certain information about Sellers to relevant tax authorities. Sellers who exceed the reporting thresholds — 30 or more completed sales or total consideration of EUR 2,000 or more in a calendar year — consent to the collection and reporting of their personal and transactional data to the applicable tax authorities.
Sellers are responsible for their own tax obligations and should seek independent tax advice as appropriate.
By listing products on Printara, Sellers grant Printara the right and license to cross-post their listings — including titles, descriptions, images, and pricing — to third-party marketplaces such as Etsy and Cults3D, on the Seller's behalf.
The purpose of cross-posting is to increase the visibility and reach of the Seller's products. Printara will make reasonable efforts to ensure that cross-posted listings accurately reflect the original listing on the platform.
Sellers may opt out of auto-posting for specific listings or for their entire account by adjusting their settings in the Seller dashboard or by contacting us at hello@printara.co.
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2019/1150 on promoting fairness and transparency for business users of online intermediation services (P2B Regulation), Printara discloses the main parameters used to determine the ranking of listings in marketplace search results and category views:
In the free tier, there is no paid ranking manipulation. Listings are ranked solely on the basis of the parameters described above. If Printara introduces promoted listings or paid placement options in the future, these will be clearly labeled and disclosed.
Printara may suspend or terminate a user's account for the following reasons:
Except in cases requiring immediate action to prevent ongoing legal violations or harm, Printara will provide at least 30 days' written notice before terminating a Seller's account, including a statement of reasons.
In cases of serious or repeated legal violations, fraud, or activity that poses an immediate risk to other users, Printara reserves the right to suspend or terminate the account immediately without prior notice.
Upon termination, any pending payouts will be processed within 30 days, subject to resolution of any outstanding disputes. The user's listings will be removed from the platform and any external marketplaces where they have been cross-posted.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

AND ITS AFFILIATES ARE NOT THE APPLICATION DEVELOPER, DO NOT PROVIDE THE APPLICATION SERVICE, AND MAKE NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND WITH RESPECT TO THE APPLICATION OR DATA ACCESSED THROUGH IT.
Printara integrates with third-party marketplace platforms including Etsy, Cults3D, and MyMiniFactory. These integrations are provided by Printara, not by the respective marketplace platforms. Each marketplace's own terms of service and policies apply to your use of that marketplace.
The term “Etsy” is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This application uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Slovak Republic, without regard to conflict of law principles.
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you have the right to submit complaints to the Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia — SOI):
You may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
For disputes not resolved through alternative dispute resolution, the competent courts of the Slovak Republic shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protection provisions in the Buyer's country of residence.
Printara reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you at least 30 days before the changes take effect by sending a notice to the email address associated with your account.
Your continued use of the platform after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the platform and close your account.
